Feedback

Hey birds!

How was the first week or summer training? This is an opportunity for you to comment and let me know how it went. Did you understand the workouts, with the pictures and videos. Do you understand what tempo means? Were you so sore you couldn't get out of bed or thought the workouts were too easy?

  1. it was a good week to get back at it all but yes, I was extremely sore in the legs! That's okay though, being sore is good!

    There were a few moves this week that I have never scene before in my life! Not that I'm not open to trying new things but I guess I would like to suggest keeping things closer to what we have already been taught and working on with Marcus? In my opinion that would be very helpful!

    1. The definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again and expect different results. That goes for the body also, if you do the same exercises the body with hit a plateau and adaptations will stop. So we can not expect to do the same exercises over and over again and continue to have strength gains. We have to cycle exercise and add new ones. That is why I added videos and pictures, so if you have any questions about certain exercises please text me. Keep up the good work birds!

  2. I agree with Bones, it's sometimes easier when we know the moves that we are doing because I feel like I'm doing some of the new things that we haven't seen before wrong or I'm not working the right muscle or something.
    Great first week though! My legs still feel like jello!

  3. I agree with bones, especially if we are going to be tested in lifting on the lifts we have been doing all spring! I think that would help!

  5. Im with Katie and Bones. Just because I know a lot of people don't know how to do Turkish get ups and man makers correctly. Other than that I think the workouts are good and push me pretty hard

  6. I thought this week was good. There was a good balance between weights and lifting. My hamstrings were so sore after those good mornings tho!
