Worlds Best Cheerleader

When going to workout it is often nice to have a cheer squad.
I happen to think MINE is the best :)

Speaking of -->  y'all aren't even going to recognize Cooper when you get back to campus.  He's a monster.  Up to about 17 lbs and 26.5 inches.  When he does his goo-goo-gaa-gah babbling baby yell I like to pretend he is cheering.  He's the best.

in typical cedar weather we started bundled up and wearing beanies, but by the end of the running he was sprawled on a blanket in a short sleeve t-shirt.

  1. This reminded me of last summer...
One day I went to the track and my little brother really wanted to come run with me. And so he ran my warm up lap with me and his little legs were exhausted after so he just watched me the rest of the time and he stood over on the side and cheered for me every time I sprinted past.
It's hard for me to pick a favorite day of running cause I just LOVE them all so much... :P but that day was awesome cause I had the best little cheerleader

  2. It must have been really hard to nail down your FAVORITE run but this is perfect :) I can see your adorable little brother out there cheering for you - he's such a cute kid. And I swear having a cheerleader does make a difference.

  3. Last summer I was visiting my sister for a few days and of course I couldn't skip a workout while visiting her!! So we went to a park near her house and she helped time my sprints for me and she cheered me on the whole way. She was so proud and Was there to encourage me through ALL the sprints and it made it so much more motivational with her there.

  4. Last summer when we had those agility days Tuesday and Thursday I was out in the backyard with cones set up etc. doing the workout. Olivia, my 8 year old sis, came out and wanted to join. So after a few rounds she looked at me and said "this is too easy. You need to do burpees after each round!!" I was like what the?!! But I couldn't disappoint my new coach so I did the burpees. Then the next round it was jumping jacks, then cartwheels! By the end I was just laughing cause she was making it so ridiculous but we had a wonderful time and she was beaming cause of the power she had over her big sis ;) one of my favorite workout days to this day

    1. That's awesome!! I remember last year on one of the agility days we had to hop over like 10 objects and I didn't have hurdles or anything so I went into my backyard with my littlest brother (3 at the time) and we found buckets and stools and random stuff and we lined them up and he thought it was a game. I was laughing the whole time cause I'd take my turn and then he would try and make it over and kept tripping and falling. One of my favorite workout days ever too.

Hey maybe we should just do all our workouts with little kids this year! They can be called Don't KID Yourself...cause they'll seem really fun but in reality they'll still kick your ass :P
